so i’m watching harley on the day care webcam and i see her totally doing an i-have-to-potty dance. i can immediately tell she’s even trying to distract herself from how badly she has to go with some weird arm flailing maneuver, that now some other kids are copying b/c they think she’s being funny.

i think to myself… man i really wish she’d start taking herself to the bathroom more often. we should work on that some more (she goes but evidently needs more reminding than i realized). but in the meantime, uhh dude someone should REALLY get this kid to a bathroom…

i get called into a meeting and when i return to my computer?

she’s in different pants.

well i guess they finally noticed.

traffic jam in the tunnel. harley’s looking for an alternate route (pink shirt, standing up).

uh-oh… harley must be in a messy mood today. she appears to be enjoying her snack in the nude.

in fact, now that i’m looking around - there are at least 2 other children topless in this classroom.

what is going on over there, hmmm?

harley and one of her classmates are the only ones up from nap and they appear to be having an animated conversation between them, pointing back and forth at each other and various things in the room.  meanwhile all the other children are still sleeping which leads me to believe the teachers would probably like these two little devils to lie back down as well.

go back to sleep, miss! your mother is watching!!

earlier today, while all the kids were eating lunch, harley was roaming around the room like some kind of warden… going over to each kid and inspecting their meals.  she even picked up what looked like a cheese stick that was in front of some child, examined it closely, and then returned it to its rightful owner.

once satisfied with her observations, she found her way back to her chair, took a seat and proceeded to eat her own damn lunch.

she cracks me up.
