non-stressed
here we are, 40w1d. this feels familiar now.
went to the dr’s office this morning for a non-stress test - they strap 2 monitors to my belly to track baby’s heart rate and any contractions i might have, and just have me sit there for about 20 minutes.
turns out i had a few contractions which i barely felt (just like last time) and heart rate and baby’s movement/kick count were totally normal.
the dr told us his official decision is the baby needs to get on out, she’s probably around 7.5lbs now but only getting bigger… and yet he doesn’t want to rush me being induced. so he’s giving me until thursday. we are to call the hospital early that morning, and they’ll tell us when it’s good to come in.
unless of course this little one decides to do something crazy and come on out before then.
so now we wait. what on earth am i supposed to do these next 3 days?!
