maybe buy some blue stuff just in case?
last night i had the inevitable (i think) dream that we had a boy.
in the dream, i didn’t even remember giving birth (maybe i’ll have a c-section…?) and there i was in a hospital room and the nurses were cleaning up some LARGE baby boy with a thick shock of dark hair and beautiful brown eyes, who was cooing and mewing and babbling up a STORM for a not-even-day-old newborn…
and i said to a nurse, “he’s adorable. whose baby is that?”
“honey, he’s yours.”
i had a dream just like this last time. probably around the same time. i guess it’s just a general nervous, wanting-to-be-prepared-but-realizing-it’s-kind-of-all-out-of-your-hands type of feeling. i guess it’s probably pretty normal.
but immediately this morning i pulled out our spreadsheet of boy names.
just in case.
