the dream house saga ends ...or does it?
so i believe i’ve mentioned here that greg and i stumbled upon an absolute dream house a few months ago. it was a huge house with an updated kitchen, bedrooms to spare, a backyard that went on for days (but needed a ton of work) and just the right amount of unfinished projects that offered awesome potential.

this is a short week for me but it already feels like it’s moving as slow as possible. i swore it was tuesday or maybe even wednesday last night. that’s TORTURE.
harley’s school has picture day tomorrow (again, already?!) and i had been proactive in planning for a typical fall photoshoot - brown cords, a cute orange shirt w/ owls on it, and a coordinating striped sweater - but...
things that drive me ALL the way batty
when people use ‘of’ instead of ‘have’ (ps i had to reread that about three times to make sure i was using of correctly.)
as in, “i should of taken a raincoat today.”
OMFG THE WORD IS HAVE NOT OF JUST BECAUSE THEY SOUND KIND OF SIMILAR DOES NOT MEAN THE SAME THING STOP BEING SO LAZY.

i have no motivation at work lately. i have a big project that i was a tiny bit fired up about for a while, but i still have a lot left to do before my next check-in with my boss … and i just don’t care. not even one little bit. i don’t even know exactly why i’m feeling so burnt out and bored and blah but, here i am.

a few weeks ago we learned that harley would be moving up to a new class at the beginning of this month.
new teachers, new friends (and some old friends who moved up before her), new challenges, new, new new… very exciting stuff.
but we were told the transition is very important to everyone at the school and she’d do half-days in her current and her new class for a full week before...

in the aftermath of hurricane irene, harley’s day care center lost power and has been closed this entire week. not exactly an ideal situation, since day care is really our only option for harley while greg and i both have silly office-type jobs.
