when we first started interviewing day care centers, i found that quite a few of them offered live feeds of their in-room cameras on their websites and i was, naturally, pretty excited about the idea of getting a few glimpses of harley throughout the day.

this weekend presented me with highs and lows.
friday night after work, i met up with a friend (and greg came in) for dinner at tree on the lower east side - a restaurant dan picked because it was featured on “the best thing i ever ate.”
(yep, we tried the seafood linguine - it was definitely good, not sure about best though. the crispy duck breast, however, was VERY tasty. yum.)

this morning my boss suggested that our team meet up for a going-away breakfast for the girl who came in from the UK office to cover for me on my maternity leave.
so we met at a lovely restaurant nearby at 9:30am for a HUGE amazing meal - we shared an order of their amazing french toast as an appetizer.

weird weekend
with greg’s job security a huge question mark hanging over us this weekend, it wasn’t exactly the lightest, happy-go-lucky kind of time.
we did get out for a nice lunch and walk around westfield on saturday (which included a mandatory stop at crumbs), but greg was clearly all kinds of stressed.
