Only one more sleep until A REALLY AMAZING DAY! And I got to dress up and be fancy for a nice night out with my family - dinner and a show!!
There were 3 of us on this bench, now there are only 2. So why won’t the grl next to me move over? Ugh.
It was a really lovely night to be walking around the city. Makes me *really* wish I lived here, or at least closer.
Very much looking forward to house, husband, and bed. In exactly that order. I’m such an old fart.
simple pleasures
this morning i had a serious craving for a banana-nut muffin. i stopped into the deli where i sometimes get breakfast, but none of their muffins looked desirable.
i stopped into the starbucks in my building, but no such luck there, either.

earlier today, with more than a little glee (i’m not ashamed to admit), i remembered that the bachelorette is on tonight…
and then for about an hour i had stupid wes’ stupid song stuck in my head.

Moving makes me long for a cabin out in the woods somewhere with about 3 changes of clothes (bathing suit, winter, summer) and nothing for entertainment but my husband, my dogs and books.
It’s hard to legitimize purchasing anything after seeing how many books, shoes, dresses, kitchen supplies and DVDs we own. I heard a show on NPR one time about a family that decided to downsize...

so ivanka trump just got engaged to real estate “magnate” (apparently, so i’m told by ny magazine) jared kushner.
the husband half of the couple that are my parent’s best friends worked for the kushner family, until they retired a few years ago. i wonder if they’ll be invited to the wedding. i can’t wait to hear their stories, if they are.
